Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actress and producer. In 1995 she
made her debut in a feature film in the independent drama Kids. Her roles in
subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson is also a voice actor for work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics
as well as ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her performance in Rent, Dawson won
the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture; for her role
in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for the Best
Actress in a Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in New York City.
Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban. Rosario was just 16 when Isabel was born.
Her mother, Isabel Celeste, never got married to Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was
one when her mother married Greg Dawson (a construction worker). In this union,
Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is four years her junior. Dawson is also
known for her roles in comic adaptations of novels. They include Gail Sin City
(2005), Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
(2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe.
She also voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. She also
voiced Ahsoka Tano's character on The Mandalorian's upcoming second series,
which will air in 2020. The character will also play the lead role in the
Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an
autobiographical comedy produced developed by Dwayne John in 2021.
